About Fister Quarries Group
History
Fister Quarries Group Inc., a supplier of pigments, formliners and aggregates, was established in 1969 by Charles Fister whose industry experience dates back to 1959. Located in Batavia, Illinois, Fister Quarries services the United States and Canada.
Fister Quarries Group Inc. is an active member of A.P.A, P.C.I and many of the local chapters of P.C.I and exhibits at all conventions. We are currently, or in the past have been, members of committees or on the Board of Directors of these organizations. Architectural concrete is our primary business and we take our memberships in these associations very seriously.

Shipping
Fister Quarries Group Inc. takes full
responsibility for shipping, and consequently quotes all prices as
delivered costs. Fister Quarries Group Inc. chooses the best form of
shipping--truck, rail or barge-- depending on the size of the projects,
the distance to ship, the shipping plant's capability, and your capacity
to receive and store.
Costs of shipping can be lowered by furnishing is with as much information as possible. This includes: when the material is needed, approximate tonnage, and at what rate (trucks or car loads per week, etc.). Much can be done if enough information is furnished well in advance of the start of the project.
Costs
The cost of special aggregates and sands from Fister
Quarries Group Inc. are always quoted and invoiced as delivered to your
plant. We think this is the only way for you to have accurate and
meaningful costs. It also means Fister Quarries Group Inc. has full
responsibility of the stone until it is deposited in your bin.
